"A different way to think about creative genius"

"Elizabeth Gilbert muses on the impossible things we expect from artists and geniuses -- and shares the radical idea that, instead of the rare person "being" a genius, all of us "have" a genius. It's a funny, personal and surprisingly moving talk."

That was lovely. Thank you for sharing it.

I remember when I first started writing, really getting into the zone whilst working through my first novel at the age of 17, having this overwhelming feeling that it was writing itself and I was merely recording it. I remember even having the presence of mind to verbalise it.

It felt like that then and even today, on the good days, the really good days, that's exactly how it feels.
