“If you want to be a writer, you must do two things above all others: read a lot and write a lot. .” - Stephen King
Not relevant to this post specifically, but thanks for the sidebar link!
Hi Robin, thanks for the link!! I'm sure your Rom Com shares none of the questionable attributes of my list...Any chance of a squiz? Will you be posting any of your pages on your blog? I didn't enter the challenge as you know, but I did write a Rom Com at the beginning of this year (still in icky first draft stage, awaiting coverage any day now - oo er!), so I will if you will! ; )
Actually, the "I'VE FORGOTTEN WHAT GENRE I'M IN" attribute made me focus on what I really wanted my script to be. Part of the challenge for me is sticking to the genre.I do intend putting up at least the first ten pages once it's finished. But there had better not be any laughing for the wrong reasons.
Ah yes, that one is a fave, tho the "mistaken identity" one I've read FAR too many times sadly. Hard to believe b&w minstrel-style stuff is still doing the rounds! Glad to hear my ramblings have been of some use tho! I eagerly await those ten pages... I won't laugh, promise. Unless I'm supposed to. ; )
How about an update then Robin? You've gone a bit quiet...
An update is on its way. It required more thinking than usual.
